  • What Is Physical Conditioning?

    Physical Conditioning is a class focused towards increasing sport performance through developing more efficient functional and coordinated movement. This improves performance in both athletics and life functionality in general. Our goal is to increase your student's motor fitness by working to improve their muscular power, speed, balance, coordination, accuracy, and agility. As well as their muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and help improve their body composition.

    Power Clean

    WE ARE NOT PERFORMING THIS EXERCISE DURING VIRTUAL LEARNING

    The Power Clean is an explosive full-body exercise that can help any athlete in any sport–if it's performed correctly. But this exercise—like all Olympic lifts—is very technical and needs to be executed with precision to achieve maximum benefits while reducing your chance of injury.

    Squat

    Squats are considered a vital exercise for increasing the strength and size of the lower body muscles as well as developing core strength. The primary agonist muscles used during the squat are the quadriceps femoris, the adductor magnus, and the gluteus maximus.[1] The squat also isometrically uses the erector spinae and the abdominal muscles, among others.

    Bench

    The bench press is an upper-body weight training exercise in which the trainee presses a weight upwards while lying on a weight training bench. The exercise uses the pectoralis major, the anterior deltoids, and the triceps, among other stabilizing muscles.
